Our speakers will be covering a range of ways in which we can realise our own potential and help others to achieve theirs, leading to greater equality of opportunity for every one of us.

Jane Wintringham will Chair the conference.

Anj Handa will present this year's "Eleanor Macdonald Memorial Lecture: The Power of Connection."

In her talk Anj will demonstrate how, by leading social change, you can boost your reputation, personal profile and opportunities at work.

Christine Gilkes - "Getting Women into Top Jobs"

McKinsey estimate that if organisations can bridge the gender gap it could add up to £150 billion to GDP in 2025. So what can we do to help speed up the rate of change and reap the obvious benefits? Christine will be talking about how we can learn from those companies modelling good practice, extol the benefits of having better representation and shift mindsets to bring about significant and sustainable change.

Stephen Crow - “How to Strategise”

Strategic thinking is essential in driving success in a dynamically changing environment. Steve will bring the topic of strategy to life in a corporate context but will also link to the importance of having a clear personal strategic agenda.

Chris Baines - "Myths about sex"

Chris will be looking at some of the enduring myths about sex which shape both women’s and men’s careers and life choices.

Chris’s session will be followed by a round-table discussion about some of the issues raised.

Meg Munn - "Overcoming the challenges of public and political life"

Meg will talk about the important contribution women make to political and public life and an approach that can help overcome challenges.
